Well, this tape is extremely strong. Some carpet have a super weak material that is why you need to use hot water when peeling it off.
The reason I recommend using hot water is because hot water will help get it off without tearing the fabric of your carpet.
Based on my personal experience, this tape is excellent to both rough and smooth concrete floors.
For me this tape is everything that I was hoping for and it did way more than what I expected, it kind of worked better than an area rug pad I was using before.

Great article and great carpet tape, when I first saw this article, I thought the tittle was clickbait but after using the tape for about a week, I can definitely say that it really works on concrete and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who may be looking for a tape can also stick to concrete.
