I was searching online, looking for new furniture to buy for my kitchen.
I fell in love with Pompeii kitchen chairs with caster wheels, well, these chairs are awesome… buying them was worth very penny.
My kitchen looks a lot better with these new chairs… my husband loved the chairs and my kids also can’t get enough of these chairs.
I’m pretty sure that my kids only like the chairs just because they have caster wheels.
What funny is, even my dog seems to love these chairs, he keeps pushing than around when his bored, I guess this is his new way to pass the time.
As we all know, there is no such thing as a perfect product, these chairs also had some downfalls.
The only downfall to these chairs was that, the caster wheels were plastic, so they left marks on my vinyl floors.
I decided to buy some kitchen chair mats to try project my vinyl floors from the caster wheels as they were leaving some really horrible marks on the floor.
Well, the kitchens mats didn’t work as I expected because the dog kept pushing the chairs all over the place.
Than my husband came up with a really wise idea, he told me to just replace the caster wheels instead of wasting money on buying a chair mat for each and every chair.
I wasted quite a lot of money on the chair mat since our kitchen has about 6 chairs.
After talking to my husband, I went to amazon and searched for caster wheels for kitchen chairs.
I did try a few casters from amazon but none worked for me, they didn’t fit on the chairs.
After browsing amazon, I stumbled upon some wheels called heavy duty caster wheels by lifelong and I decided to give them a try.
I needed a set of 25, but only bought a set of 5 just to test the wheels first, well these worked like magic…
So, to anyone looking for high quality replacement wheels for their kitchen chairs, the lifelong wheels are what I recommend simple because these worked way better than I expected.
What great about these wheels is that, they fit about 98% of chairs, unlike the other wheels that are only designed for specific brands
How much do these wheels cost?
The reason I recommend checking the current price on amazon is because, amazon changes their prices quite often, so I’m really not sure about the current price as I bought these wheels a few weeks ago. So, the price may vary.
To be honest, you really don’t have to worry about the price, these are not expensive but high quality at the same time.
These are cheap, but don’t let the price fool you by thinking that these are low quality… you will be surprised how strong these are.
There are quite a few different replacement wheels available on amazon right now but the reason I only recommend the lifelong wheels is because these wheels were made for heavy duty, which means they can withstand quite a lot of weight and on top of that they do not scratch the floor even when my dog keeps pushing the chair around.
What are the things that I love about the wheels?
- What I love the most about these caster wheels is that ever since I’ve started using them they haven’t given me any issues even when my kids are gliding across the kitchen my floors are still in a good manner, I need no mat under my chairs because these wheels are a game changing with basically no damage to the floor.
- These wheels are amazing product in such a way that you can’t even tell that they are not originally part of the chair because when you pop them in, they fit exactly and match the chair of your choice.
- These wheels are manufactured from superior grade rubber so that when you move around the counter there will be no noise and no marks on the floor so you can move across the floor without cringing or afraid you will leave behind scratches.
- You will be amazed to know that these wheels rotate in their own 360 degrees orbit perfectly, they are definitely a little heavier as the hardware of these casters are metal and not plastic like most standard casters come with, very well made, well packaged as advertised, these wheels currently working great as most things do on day one.. highly recommend.

- The wheel has a larger circumference than the original casters, which rolls absolutely silently, no cluck or rumble thanks to the rubber tire that surrounded the wheel. You will not regret buying these because they are a great pleasure to use.
What are the things that I didn’t like about these wheels?
- The only thing that I kinda didn’t like about these wheels is that, they do not come with locks, they don’t have any breaks, and my dog keeps pushing them around, which is annoying sometimes. But other than that, these are awesome.
