Gorilla double sided tape vs 3m

Gorilla double sided tape vs 3m

My dad wanted a double-sided tape to use under an area rug to keep it from sliding, so he wanted to know which one was the best between the Gorilla double sided tape and the 3m double sided tape.

If you are also wondering the same thing than this article is exactly for you… The only thing that I can tell you is that, every double-sided tape has its own pros and cons.

Both these tapes are great and both have their own downfalls.

There is no such thing as a perfect double-sided tape…

So, which double sided tape do I recommend between the gorilla and the 3m?

Well, I’ve used both and both were awesome but I personally recommend the Gorilla Tough & Clear Double Sided simple because it has never given mem any issues. Plus, it safe to use on all surfaces.

Please don’t get me wrong, I also loved using the 3m double sided tape, the reason I stopped using was because it left residue on my floors.

I used to use the 3m double sided tape to keep my dining room area rug from slipping on hardwood floors.

I honestly loved using the 3m double sided tape since it strong and it also kept the area rug from slipping but it also left residue on my hardwood floors than I switched to the gorilla double sided tape.

Well, I have been using the gorilla double sided tape under my dining room area rug for about 2 months now and it has never given me any issues plus it also doesn’t leave residue on my hardwood floors.

There are a lot of things that I love about the 3m double sided tape but I personally recommend the gorilla tape to anyone who is looking for a high-quality double-sided tape that doesn’t leave adhesive residue behind.

Does the gorilla double sided tape leave adhesive residue behind?

The only thing that I can promise you is that, you are not going to have a single regret from using the gorilla tape.

What are the thigs that I do not like about the 3m double sided tape?

  • It left adhesive residue on my hardwood floors

Why do I recommend the gorilla instead of the 3m?

Because the gorilla works on almost anything, you can use it on the wall, you can use it on the floor to keep area rugs from slipping and you can also use on a vehicle on top of that it also doesn’t damage the surface when removed.

What are the things that I love about the gorilla double sided tape?

  • It easy to use
  • It doesn’t stick on your fingers
  • It doesn’t leave dulling adhesive residue behind
  • It doesn’t damage the surface when removing it
  • It easy to peel off
  • It cheap but high quality at the same time

The gorilla double-sided tape does exactly what I needed and on top of that it hasn’t given me any problems. What more can I ask for?? This stuff works.

This gorilla tape works like magic… it cheap, strong, its high quality, it was made for heavy duty and it freaking works way better than the 3m double sided tape.

What do you have to lose? You can also buy both if you want and test for yourself which one is better, these tapes are cheap anyways…

If you do not have time to try both, then get the gorilla tape, you are not going to regret using it.

is the gorilla double sided tape safe for all types of surfaces?

You can use it on a brick, tile, or even on a vehicle…

If you want to use it underneath your area rugs tan you really don’t have anything to worry about, it great on hardwood floors, vinyl floor, laminate floor and tile flooring... you can also use it on concrete floors.

Don’t use the 3m double sided tape on sensitive floors.

Please, do not use the 3m tape on floors sensitive floors such as Vinyl flooring, laminate floors, engineered hardwood floors or bamboo floors because you are going to be very disappointed.

It is so strong that it could damage the floor or the area rugs when you want to peel it off.

The reason I like the gorilla tape instead of the 3m tape, is that, the gorilla tape is also strong but it doesn’t damage the surface when you peeling it off.
